The Scientist in Residence Program creates enriched experiences for everyone involved by bringing scientists into elementary schools to collaborate with teachers and do hands-on science with children. Teachers and scientists develop partnerships, share knowledge, extend their creativity, and help science come alive in classrooms and on field trips. The program strives to get children hooked on science at a young age.
